Now that Spring is in the air, we recommend scrubbing away Winter’s
dry skin with our full-body massage and exfoliation in one. After
selecting the brown sugar or Dead Sea salt scrub of your choice, you
will receive an invigorating massage with this product, leaving your
skin smooth, senses refreshed and mind rejuvenated. This exfoliating
treatment is revitalizing and helps to reduce stress and refine the
texture of the skin, leaving it smooth and polished.
Soothing Touch's luxurious Brown Sugar Scrubs, made with 100%
Organic brown sugar, gently exfoliate old skin while locking in
vital moisture to keep skin healthy and visibly radiant. Brown sugar
contains AHAs, (alpha-hydroxy acids) which help to even skin tone
and allow for gentle exfoliation. The synergy of the Aurvedic oils
and brown sugar produces natural fatty acids, which lock in
moisture, firm the skin, diminish the appearance of fine lines and
wrinkles and leave skin silky smooth.
Soothing Touch’s salt scrubs are made with herbal extracts,
essential oils, Vitamin E, mineral-rich Dead Sea Salt and an
Ayurvedic Oil blend. These scrubs are ideal for easing stress while
exfoliating and moisturizing from head to toe, leaving skin silky
smooth and glowing.
The Dead Sea in Israel is the lowest spot on earth, having the
highest mineral content anywhere. These minerals include calcium,
magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, copper, sulfur, manganese and
phosphorus, which aid in strengthening the immune system. The salts
provide analgesic and antiseptic properties, removing toxic
substances from the body and stimulating new cell growth.
We begin the treatment by asking the client if they prefer salt
(more exfoliating, but a bit rougher feeling, and if they have a
shellfish allergy would not be recommended), or sugar (a gentler,
more moisturizing option), and give them the choice of aromas. We
offer a Vanilla/Orange or a Mango/Ginger brown sugar scrub, or a
Vanilla or Tangerine Dead Sea salt scrub. We inform them of what to
expect during the treatment. We use hot, moistened towels to remove
the product after massaging it into each body part, which is a very
soothing feeling in itself. We will do a thorough job of removing
the product from the clients back, and will finish that area with a
moisturizing lotion. We also suggest that they apply lotion from the
dispenser in the locker room after their shower to help seal in the
skin smoothing effects of the exfoliation. It is recommended not to
